Description
Specimens are put into the test chamber, clamped with suitable flanges and gaskets, and then a known water pressure is applied to the specimen’s surface for a time as called for by the Standard. An air compressor is used to provide an adequate and constant pressure. The water penetration is measured by quantitative water penetration measurement using the graduated burettes.
Available with either 3 or 6 test stations, these Impermeability test devices can be used with the following test specimen sizes: 150 x 150 x 120mm, 150 x 150 x 150mm, 200 x 200 x 120mm or 150 x 300mm (requires accessory).
